Clutch fluid

I just looked at the fluid and it looks full, but I can see crap in it. So, I'm going to flush the fluid tomorrow morning...
Anyone know the correct way to flush the clutch fluid? Should I just get like a turkey baster thing and suck all the old stuff out, then refill it? Anything else I need to do?

:rofl: I didn't know there was a way to bleed it... I just heard of someone using a turkey baster before, but I was wondering how the hell you get the stuff at the bottom. Where's the bleeder valve for the clutch fluid?

1) Remove clutch master cylinder reservoir lid.
2) Locate bleeder valve on slave cylinder (right below engine stamp, to the left of header), remove rubber cap (if equipped).
3) Loosen bleeder valve, have friend begin pumping clutch.
Friend must also make sure reservoir never loses fluid, he must continue to fill with appropriate brake fluid
4) Once you've identified that there are no more air bubbles coming out, close bleeder valve screw, replace rubber cap.
5) Fill clutch master cylinder reservoir to max level, replace reservoir lid.
That should take care of it!

Cool, thanks. I guess I'll have to sucker someone into helping me this weekend...
Is the fluid coming out of the bleeder easy to collect in a bottle or something? Or should I do this somewhere that I can make a mess?
