Default Half Cuts vs Engine Packages.

What is a better deal, a half cut or an engine package.
excluding price, would it be better to get everything from the windshield to the radiator, or the engine swap packages.

Depends on the project; What chassis & what swap do you have in mind?

A good example, an S14 240SX chassis w/ RB25DET swap is a circumstance where without a half-cut, it would be prohibitively expensive.

But even a NA MR2 to Turbo MR2 swap is made much easier by using a half-cut.

So again, it depends.

its where u get the front clip of the car.

I like getting the front clips, because then you have ALL of the parts you'll need for sure for a swap. No running 343754 times to the store for misc hoses, bolts, nuts, sensors, etc... when doing a swap.

Half cuts help when it comes to saving time, but are usually much more expensive. I really only see them practical for extreme swaps or RHD conversions.

Would he have an 87-88 RX-7 Turbo II half cut? :naughty:

Maybe a 20B Cosmo half cut?
