I just got 20% tints on my car all the way around, except for my front windshield. I think they put 35%'s all the way around!!! I would complain except theres no way i can prove it. CAN ANYONE POSTS SOME PICS WITH 20% tints??? I just wanna compare. THANKS.:thumbup:

ask a cop, they got tint measurers and other stupid stuff like that, wasting tax money...

Not exactly, either 35 or 20%'s perfectly legal

 

not where i live, IN MD anything below 35% is ILLEGAL.

 

Maybe they put the 35% on *because* 20% is illegal where you live. They don't want to run in trouble with the law because you want them to. The guy at the counter could have over-promised you and the guys who installed it caught the error and went with the legal limit.

In NJ, you can only tint what is behind the drivers head. They can pull you over for tint i think

 

The laws I am reading about MD are 35% legal all around. Jersey is none on front and any% on the rest.

And if they were tinted below the legal limit, he would get a ticket and be told to remove it from his car.
