Default LS exhaust on GS-R

I have a '01 GS-R coupe... I know that the 94+ LS exhausts will fit my car. I found a good deal on a used exhaust from a 94+ Ls and im thinking about buying it.. My question is: is there a difference in performance between an LS and a GS-R exhaust? I'm thinking no, since exhausts that come out now, the GS-R and 94-97LS exhausts have the same part #. i just wanted to make sure before i made my purchase..thanks..peace

The cat on the GSR is shorter, therefore the LS catback exhaust is too short to fit the GSR. I bought a GSR exhaust and had to get it shortened, but hey I got a brand new Apex N1 for $300, it was worth it. As for performance, they are the same.
