ragerized: how will this new mac be outdated? and by what? another mac or by a PC?? if you mean something being faster than it, sure it will be... but as far as what i can do, nah. They already have talks of a dual 3Ghz to come out sometime next year. And FYI: i have a 450Mhz G4 at home that i got in 99, and i can still buy any app now adays and run it on her. and ive had NO problems in that time.

It still uses Mac OS X

while having a Unix and FreeBSD core

it runs a Hawk shell, which sucks ass

I would only buy it to put a PowerPC compatible Linux distro on it

mac should just give up and ask Microsoft to write a Longhorn Version that can run on the PowerPC 750

and it seems that X86 based computer are the way to go

and in there tests Apple scores 3's while X86 computers scored higher

plus apple lies in ther benchmarks
