Default Gas Mileage?

I Have a 99 Teg LS with about 73,000 miles. It has AEM CAI, Skunk2 exhaust as far as performance mods. What should my gas mileage be for a full tank. Also im running 17" wheels with a 205/40/17 tire.

Does anyone have any idea what it gets when its stock and what I am to expect with these mods. Was gettin just under 200 on a full tank. Just changed the plugs a lil bit ago and did see an good increase. Does anyone think maybe a fuel filter change might help. I bought the car used with about 62,000 on it and i doubt it has been changed.

I usually get around 25->30 mpg; 35 if I'm lucky (freeway). I've gotten as low as 12 mpg, but that was after an hour of flogging it around a track.

I would highly recommend you change the fuel filter asap.

I was think of going with an AEM fuel filter just cause its got the nice look for show. Good idea or not? Should i just go and get an oem filter and not waste the money? I can get the AEMfor about $100 and with the AEM all you have to do is replace the element when its time to change.

If you want show, then maybe the AEM is the way to go... I just got some paraut for $18 and it works great. (Despite the horrible Engrish on ths box)

I get 23-24 MPG on city exclusively, about 26-27MPG on mixed, 33-35 MPG freeway exclusively at day, and up to 37MPG at night

I do all city driving, I am hardly ever on the highway, and I am getting 24-26mpg, and roughly 285-320 miles out of a tank on my 96 gsr. It pretty much all depends on how much I am in vtec on a tank. Lots of vtec=low gas mileage.

Oh and I don't think your mods are going to effect your gas mileage much at all.

get OEM fuel filter. at that kind of milage your fuel pump is gotta die if you dont change ur filter. Do you run the car low on gas?, that clogs ur filter even more!. U did the plugs, how about your cap and rotor?. Your milage is gonna go down because of your wheels. 17's are much heavyer than stock, or even 15's
