Default RPM limitation

Hi there,

I just bought a modified integra GS. One of the mods is that the engine is not limited to 6800 RPM. Do you guys think it is dangerous? How high can I go in your opinion?

Thanks

Is there no rev limiter at all? The B18B1 block was only made to rev to 6800~7000...If you want to go higher, you'll need upgraded internals.

On my b18a1 which is practically the same thing, i think the fuel cut off was 7100rpm's. Wouldnt rev any higher than that.

thiers a rev limiter, ive hit it lil bit past 7100, i hit while racin through first and second, i think it hits at 7300, so your kinda safe cause you wont be able to rev up to 8 or wutever, unless they took the rev limiter out, which i dont know how you can do that so wutever.

in order to do that you have to get a new ecu if it is obd2 and a chip if it is obd1
