Default 03 Coupe Auto -------> 6 speed. Can it be done???

Hey guys in the future I am thinking of buying 6 speed accord tranny and swap it into my 03 AV6 auto, is it easy to do that? Imean just direct bolt on and etc........But prolly expensive huh? I think only Dealers carry the tranny...........so maybe I am looking at a total of 4-5K for everything, wut u guys think?

why didn't u just get the 6 speed in the first place?

if you get your hands on the exact tranny, then yes it should be a direct bolt on

sell your auto back ... take the loss, and go on. it's not worth the time, money, and trouble.

You're an idiot for not getting it in the first place if you want it this badly. Sell your car, take the loss, and buy a 6 speed.

A few people on v6performance.net have done this already and the loss was not anywhere near the amount you will take for the tranny and install, plus you get an upgraded stereo, suspension, and other goodies.

Well when I got my car which is few months back every dealer I went to didnt have 6 speed they said only like 1 car per dealership....and if so it'll be 30,000.........I dont wanna spend that much for an accord my car is only 23,000 out of door. Now they're like we have them in stock...............If I have the chance I would have bought the 6 speed dont u think? Plus they said it's limited and rare but now it's just..........sigh..........wutever............... .
