Default Radio signal is too week

Alrite guys, there is a radio station that is at UCLA, and i live in the valley. i can get this station in some part of the valley and in others i can hear it but it doesn’t come in clear. i was thinking about a radio booster and i wanted to know if it would work and if so how much would it cost me? Would even work and is it worth doing?

Thanx for any and all suggestion and comments.

If you want a head unit that is already good at picking up stations look at the FM Sensitivity and lower dbf is better. Cheaper units usually have higher dbf.

If you have an existing radio.. go to Radioshack and ask for a am/fm amplifier that basically runs inline from the antennae into the input of your HU. This might induce some eletrical noise and it may not.. I dont know the part number off hand.. but it's worth a shot..
