Default 94 Accord EX header

Hey guys, I put this message up on the buy/sell forum, but i figure with all the accord owners here, i would have a better chance for a response. I have a 94 LX sedan and I'm looking to replace the header with a 94 EX stock header. If any of you modder's have one lying around and don't mind parting with it, email me at lrdstnly@fast.net or reply to this post. Thanks.

I got one and a DC CC header too. I don't think it'll fit though.

You gonna help me pay for mods, my tuition, and rent too???

I'm gonna ask the guys in maintenance at the dealer whether the parts can be switched or not.

Accordsleeper, if they are interchangeable, let me know if you'd be willing to part with your spare.

nope, i got my own to pay. whats the point of spending your hard earned money on an oem part that wont yield much gain performance wise. if youve got all that to pay like i do then you want the best bang for the buck and i doubt an oem ex header is it(even if it did fit). chikara, kamikazee, or a used dc wont be too expensive and will benefit your car alot more man. no need to get all hostile n ****.

If you did an aftermarket header search you would notice that they have separate headers for the LX and EX models which means they are most likely not compatable with each other. Also i thought i read somewhere on this forum that the LX header is actually better than the EX header...

LOL, sorry man, I wasn't tryin to get hostile and I didn't want you to take it that way. The good thing about the OEM idea is that with all the modders around, the EX header might be the best price of all. . .free. I don't have a problem with spending money on aftermarket. I just ordered my AEM CAI. It just occurs to me that the EX header presents less of a bottleneck and while it won't give a huge performance gain, the price (again, possibly free) justifies looking for one until i can afford something better, at least from my point of view.

When I did an oem part search, some places list the same part as replacement for either header which leads me to believe they will fit. . . I don't know. I don't think anyone knows for sure. I'm gonna ask the honda maintenance guys. The EX header is definitely better though. Its 4-2-1 as compared to the LX's 4-1.

The 02 sensor location is different between LX and EX models. I want to get rid of the DC CC header cause I want to sell my F22B1 with the oem header.

I'll get rid of it cheap though. Just call DC sports and ask them if it'll fit cause IMO I'm not too sure it will.
