Default Need help diagnosing black crap in exhaust!!

Hey everybody..
I have been noticing a decent amount of liquidy black (most likely oil) coming out of my exhaust when the motor is running. I am trying to pinpoint what the cause is. The black crap that is spit out, seems to be greatest when i am first starting the car. The only thing i can think of is a faulty PCV vavle or possilbly leaking valve stem seals. The oil coming out of the exhaust is NOT getting burned as i have no blue smoke coming from the car, JUST liquidy droplets. Thanks for your help!!

Are you sure it's oil, and not just condensation?

I dont think i am following you... What kinda condensation and where would that be coming from? The car doesnt appear to be using alot of oil as i check it often. But if somebody is parked behind me and i start the car, my exhaust will leave a bunch of black specs all over thier bumper. Any idea what is doing this?

That might just be unburnt fuel/carbon, along with condensation from the exhaust. Mine does that now and then. Once, after I finished a top-end cleaning, there was a trail of condensation/black droplets that went back about 4 feet. Do y our compression and leakdown numbers check out? Is there any oil on your plugs?

Yo inspyral... The compression numbers are coming up as i had recently changed the headgasket and tested afterwards. The numbers came up how they should.. i have not done a leakdown on the motor yet and i will pull the plugs tonite and see how they look. What should i be looking for that could be a possible cause? Logic tells me that if oil was leaking into the combustion chamber somehow, it would be getting burned and i would be seeing blue smoke however, this is NOT the case. If you held a white piece of paper behind the exhaust for a second, there would be little black specks all over it that look like oil. Could it possibly be unburned fuel from a leaky injector or something like that? I cant figure it out...
