Default JDM brake duct installation?

I want to get JDM brake ducts for my type-s but I don't know how hard they would be to install...
Has anyone done it that you know of?

i dont know anyone specifically but from what ive heard theyre not that hard. the most difficult thing i believe is like the cais you have to cut the fender lining.

Sorry bud but can't help out with your direct question just wanted to say good idea on the brake ducts. I thought it to be quite a and functional mod myself...:thumbup:

HI :wavey: I also think they would actually serv a purpose. I don't really like fogs so that would be the way to go for me.

One issue people have had with brake ducts (on ITR's at least) is that it's a bit excessive for daily street driving (i.e. the pad-rotor contact is always *cold*). Shouldn't be a huge problem with OEM pads, but with some of the sportier models with horrible initial bite, it can be dangerous.

i have them and installed them as well...piece of cake. i pretty much just took the front bumper off, cut out two holes in the wheel liner(one in each side which already have marks for where to cut out) and screw two bolts on each side. one of the easiest mods so far. once i get someone to host some pics i will post them up.

Very good point brought to attention...but can these brake ducts actually have that much impact on the cooling of the braking system. I mean I know its a functional mod hence it has to have some kind of impact but that much???
