i just got a 98 civic 1.6L sohc non vtec d16y7 with auto trans. with blown head gaket and over 200k on speedo, not worth tring to put head gasket. but i do have a 95 civc 1.5L sohc non vtec d15b7 at shop in box but its a rebuild so just oilpan, block, head, and valve cover . will it fit with out any extra parts or just bolt up i mean anything pcm, alt, brackets whats involved

 

I think its actually illegal to install an older engine in a newer car especially obd-2 to obd-1

 

but will it fit did i need a diff motor mount or pcm

 

i have the whole 98 civic but only a long block(no intake or exhaust or anything for that matter will the parts from the 98 bolt right up,,, everything looks about right,,,,, the v/cover is diff but can work and theres a coolant area but no passage just where something looks like it bolts up, but other then that does anybody hav any clue im out of areas to look and dont want to pay guy or do it myself to bolt everything up and put in car just to find out the pcm and diaturbator not working
