Any particular brands recommended or to stay away from?

depending what year accord you have, they might not make one. You might have to get the adaptor instead. Im not sure if they make short shifters for accords at all to be honest, I know for a fact there isn't one for 5th gen accords.

oh, i was referring to adapters. they only make adapter for accords.

ok, so would it matter what brand of adapter i ended up with?? Cos really they just look like a piece of metal with a couple of bolts. I don't care to pay 90 bills for a DC Sports adapter if the 35 dollars i spent on ebay will do the same thing.

there you go...you hit it right on the head!
that was exactly my point...
i bought obx adaptor for 45 on ebay...
it was small little piece of metal with holes and wedges.
i was sooo thankful that i did not get the dcsports or neuspeed. what a waste of valuable resource i could have been!

yah, I only got DC Sports' 'cause I got a rediculas deal on it (35 bones)
but from what I can tell the ebay ones look exactally the same
it's not as if it's a really complicated peice ta' reproduce...

So are these things easy to install? i.e. remove the center console, take some stuff apart, put the piece in, and ur done?

nice car man, what kind of mods to you have on it? what times do you clock on the autocross track?
