As yall know, i got a jdm b16a2 in my EK hatch. Im in the process of installing a JRSC and accidentally broke the stupid knock sensor. I called honda and they want $150 for a new one. My question is, how vital is this thing? Is it possible to repair it?? Any help is appreciated!!!

 

Quite a few b-series motors don't have the knock sensor, mainly the non-vtec ones. Just as long as you know what the pinging sound and/or maintain a safe a/f ratio, you should be fine.

 

I have one $40.00 you could get any without running one and just ground out the wire. But since you're boosting.... run it
