1995 Civic Sedan LX

Do I drill a hole in the firewall? Because I think where it is is like right next to the battery - near the bottom of it. The cap came off and their is like foam covering this plastic or metal plate or something.. Do I drill a hole through that?? Or what?

 

If you find a spot where there are wires going through a firewall, you can use that to feed the wire through instead of drilling into the firewall.

 

Well like I said there was like a cap over a bit of foam, but you can stick your finger in it cuz its shaped like: (+) and you can feel there is like a plastic/metal wall there, i was wondering if it was ok to drill there.

 

isnt there a hole on the driver side already? one where wires go from the engine bay to the dash?
