Some electrical problems with my 98 civic please help

I have a 98 civic ex and the Power Window works fine when the door is open but once you close it then it doesn't work.

My Dome light doesn't work at all. The bulb is fine.
Anyone have any thoughts?

#1 - is probably a short in the wire or a cut, and probably make contact when the door is open the wires have enough to make contact to open
#2 - your door sensor is more than likely shot, if you move that little black piece on the door does the light come on at all?
