Default Struts & Shocks Poll & Opinions.

I know most of you all have seen this kind of posts b4. I just got a 00 Civic, and I'm debating on what suspension set-up to go with. So I'm looking for you opinions on your own set-up. Doesn't matter if they just springs, coilovers or full coilovers. I'm looking for something that gives a 1.5-2" drop. That actually gives a nice ride. So please PM on what you guys think.

Thanks!1

for 1.5-2", I'd say Eibach prokit and stock struts as far as best bang for the buck goes.

those springs drop 1.8" and work ok with stock struts, or so they advertise.

Well best bang for your buck is the Tokico HP series shocks and springs. 1.5" drop. Itrs 350. I have it on my accord and I give it my highest remarks.

I bought the Tokico Illumina's with the Eibach Pro-kit springs. I love the way they ride and NO bounce. It almost seems like it bounces a little when it's on the "firm" setting, but it's just the suspension going with the road. Best $600 I've spent so far ('cept for the turbo, of course)

 Prokits only drop 1-1.25"

I think you're talking about Eibach Sportlines that drop about 1.8".

Cheapest long term way to go: Ground Control coilovers with KYB AGX adjustables. Tokico Blue's were only meant as a stock replacement shock, and usually blow after being on a dropped car for a while. I'd even say go with Koni Yellows if you have th money because the ride is nice and they handle well. Just ask a few people that have Koni Yellows on their rides. The reason I recommend coilovers over springs is that almost everybody I know that has springs is not happy with their ride height, or with the "evenness" of the drop, and they eventually went for coilovers. Do it right, do it once

yea im rolling on GC's with agx, in both my accord and civic. i had a lot of different wheels on my accord so adjusting the ride height was a major plus. they ride pretty decently too.

i would not recommend tockico hp (blue) struts. i had them with sportlines on my accord and they couldnt dampen them well at all

That's the set-up that I was thinking about doing. Either KYB or Tokico Illumina's w. GC's. But has anyone here have a set of Skunk2 coilovers on their car?? Any opinions on those???
