I've done a few pieces. It won't match perfectly because the paint already on your car will be slightly faded, but I can't tell unless I'm up close looking for it

Go to www.paintscratch.com You can order your exact color in a spray can. The only problem is that it is 29 bucks a can for 12 oz. You need to make sure you sand and use primer on the pieces before you paint. Then use the color paint and yes use a clear coat afterwards. I use a 3 3 4 method when painting anything interior/exterior.

They made the exact color for my car too (Frost White), but what I'm saying is that the color already on your car will be slightly faded over the years from being in the sun, etc... Your friend's was probably a perfect match because it was a young car

Take it to a bodyshop. You will never get results from a rattlecan. No offense, but if you can't afford to do it right, don't do it at all.
