I've been at 140+ (in fifth gear) on a long open stretch of Eway.

Ha. As I read the subject title of this thread I was going to ask BTW what is the Type S? Funny, anyway I believe from what I've heard, unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of driving this fast with Jens, but its 142 mph. Just hear-say though don't quote?

I think it very well could be possible to have varying top speeds between RSX's produced at different times. Just like whp output varies sometimes from RSX to RSX.

I've had my base RSX to 138 MPH. Nice calm cool night.

Thanks for the replies...haven't pushed my RSX to the limit yet but yesterday I hit about 110 in the rain and the driver's side wiper arm got pressed so hard against the windsheild it scraped, leaving behind an ugly reminder not to do that again. Weird. There were some heavy winds that may have contributed to the scratch too.

I sure as hell hope you didn't do 110 in the rain on stock tires :eh:

I sure as hell did. No problems down there though...I really don't know why everybody hates those stock Michelins. Now those Firesone Wilderness AT's I had on my pickup truck...those were a problem.
