How much did your RSX cost you
My GF is getting an 03 RSX auto, the dealer wants $22,000. Is that steep or is it a fair price? Is there anyway to get more out of the deal? Is it unreasonable to have to wait 3 months for the color combination that she wants?
Base auto for 22K, no freakin way man, I got my S for 21,800, 23850 with tax a lic. Go for under 20. And if the dealer really wants to make a sale, they will find the color she wants at another dealership and send it over, thats why u shouldnt wait but demand to be served. Go to kelleyblue book to find out the invoice of a Base Auto, and start from there, thats what I did, got my ride for invoice.

i just got quoted for an 03 type S for $23k OTD, including tax, tags, licensing, OEM spoiler, splashguards, luggage net, and all season floormats... that's with 5% tax btw, and TTL costs of $153... so yeah, that $22k quote for the auto is WAY overpriced
We paid 23650 for our TypeS but that was before the launch date, and there was no flexibility in pricing at all. But being our 4th lease from the same dealer we ended up getting $800 back in payments, the dealer made our first payment and HondaFinance sent us a check for $400 also. So we ended up paying 22850 for a 2002 on 7 July 2001. Also had the privilege of having the first one off the dealer lot here in the Ann Arbor area.

I got my base auto RSX in Feb. of this year in Ga, and paid $19374. That was $500 below invoice. I knew the RSX's weren't selling, and the dealer wanted to move some units off his lot. Of course, they tried several times to "comprimise" and wanted me to "meet them halfway". But I didn't flinch, and refused to budge off my price. After all, I didn't care if I bought the car that day or not.
So do your homework, find out invoice price. Then go play hardball. The economy, and low RSX sales, give the buyer a good advantage. Don't be scared, make them a $500 below invoice offer. The worst that can happen is they will say no. If so, say thank you and go to another dealer.
Happy Hunting,
Tony
