Stock timing setting?

Default Stock timing setting?

I have a 92 ex civic, I had to change my distributor, and now i need to set the timing. Does anyone know what it is suposed to be set at?

I believe factory timing is 18 degrees advance at idle.

Hey big BALLER!!!!

You don't even know stock timing for your car and you can comment on the price of seats that are worth as much as your POS.

Next time keep your two cents out of others threads if you have nothing good to say

BTW stock timing is 16 btdc

The "big ballers" use a timing light to set their ignition timing, and the stock timing increments are marked on the crank pulley. The white mark all by itself is TDC, the other three marks that are close together are stock timing +/- 2 degrees. Allign the middle of the three marks with the pointer on the block and tighten the distributer down. Done.

Inspyral is absolutely correct.....let the engine idle then set the timing light to 16 and turn the distributor until the center white mark is aligned as noted above
