Default I want some stories

Tell me the best and worst things you ever did to your integra.... These are helpful tips for all of us.

Any proud race stories?

Car crash stories are painful... but I wouldn't mind hearing those too... Talk it up guys...

HID's are the favorite mod I did. I highly recommend them. Definetly worth the money. Much better than the cheap conversions.

The worst thing (so far) was not spraying my bolts down with WD40 or something like that when I was doing my suspension. We ended up breaking a bolt in the LCA. That SUCKED.

The dumbest thing I've done thus far was picking the wrong place to race. I luckily only got a Reckless driving ticket out of that one(the cop wrote me for doing 85 in a 45). I don't recommend doing that. I had just gotten the Teg and wanted to see what it would do. Well the cop saw what it could do too. I was lucky he didn't take me in. In the end it ended up costing me over $1100 in fines, court costs, and lawyer fees. It sucked. Somehow though none of this is on my driving record(I found this out when I worked security on base as they have access to the same systems that normal police departments do). By the way, I've not done anything like that since then and I'm super paranoid about how fast I'm going.

HID's are High Density Discharge lights. They are what BMW's, Audi's, Mercedes and higher end Acura's have to name a few. Much better than regular lights. Get the real kit, not just the bulbs.

Best thing I've done... Mobil 1 SS 5W-30.

Worst thing I've done... not move it when Dad was working on motion lights above my garage door; fell off ladder & landed on teg.

Also, should have left it stock, or got a short ram over the AEM CAI. And I'm not at all happy with my Toyo Proxes FZ-4's. But, there's other threads for these topics.

Worst thing I did? Race foolishly on the streets. Never, ever, ever, ever engage anyone in a race on the streets, even if it is at a stoplight with zero traffic. You race, the other guy crashes his car and dies, and you go to jail for manslaughter. Life over. Also, the fact you're driving an Integra automatically means you're guilty to the cops.

Best thing? Getting involved with SoloII and HPDE's. Lot of great guys there. A bit $$$ for the average student though.

Solo II is auto-X. Don't know about HPDE. I was wondering the same thing.
