Default A/C and engine swap?

if i dont have A/C in my 93 cx hatch, will i have A/C after the b18c swap? what i mean is... does the b18c usually come with a/c, and will it install right into a cx?

Dude... you're killing me with some of these questions, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I have never seen a swap come with AC. Not to mention that there's a whole lot more to AC than just plopping a motor with it on into your car. Your climate control has to have the AC button, you have to have all of the hoses run, wiring has to be run, coolant added, system charged... etc.

If you don't have AC now, you'd go through some rough times to get it. Just forget the dream of AC.

Default What's up?

Westcoast is right. If your doesn't have A/C now, simply changing the motor won't add it. You would need the A/C compressor that bolts to the engine but you will also need the condenser (looks like a radiator, goes beside it in Civic's) along with all the hard lines, you'd probably have to pull the dash and swap the fan unit with one that's from an A/C car along with probably a big wiring nightmare. Honestly, it's not worth it unless you really knew what you were doing. If A/C is high on your list of priorities, you should consider selling your CX and finding another hatch that has A/C stock. Seeya.
