Default anyone who knows anything about turbos!!!

ok, here's the deal. im piecing together a turbo kit from ebay/friends/shops and need to know everything i will need as well as compatibility.
i have a d16y8 (97 civic ex) and so far have decided on a few things:
t3/t4 turbo
greddy bov
apex v-afc

any suggestions at all would be very much appreciated. im putting this kit together not to make my car a drag machine, but rather to make it a little more fun to drive and tune, and to gain experience for my future projects.
thanks,
-david

There are like 60 bazillion different turbos that are considered to be "T3/T4".

Basically you will need the following:

manifold
turbo
wastegate
intercooler
bov
charge pipes
downpipe
oil line for turbo
boost gauge

For fuel, a decent setup is the following:

high volume fuel pump
high-flow fuel injectors (either DSM 450 cc/min or RC 440 cc/min)
a'pexi v-afc

yea, a lot of people tell me that about the swap. i just cant spend quite that much money here, and i definitely want to end up with something turbo'd. my budget is in the $2k range.
