Default Bov install Q

i need to know how to install a BOV on a 94 integra .. we think we got it hooked up right but its not makin' a "pshh" is it sposed to or is it just sposed to do that on high amounts of boost?.. the teg is runnin' about 5psi.. ?? any info??

The sound will depend on the BOV, the amount of boost run, and whether you vent to the intake tract or atmosphere.

It could be that you got a BOV with too stiff of a spring, which would mean that it wouldn't open for your boost pressures...

If it's hooked up right, try adjusting the tension on the spring. Most BOVs have an adjustment bolt/nut. If it's not opening, try deacreasing the tension on the spring(read: turn the adjustment bolt outward). The BOV also needs to be hooked up to manifold pressure, I don't know if you knew that.
