Home improvement crew v.notaflamingo
Just thought I'd bring home improvement crew up to speed on my projects in the last few months. This is far from complete, but I figured I've made enough progress to start a thread up. Anyhoo, pics:

Next came paint. I don't really have any during pics of this, but I painted all the cabinets white and the walls a tannish color.
Then I tore out all the carpet and baseboard trim in the living room, dining room, hallway and closets. And ripped the shitty linoleum out of the kitchen.
Then after screwing the subfloor down and dealing with squeaks, I got started on the floors.
DURING
getting started in the dining room

dining room and kitchen done

most of the way through the living room

going down the hall

Floors are done, and I just finished off the baseboard and quarter round. I originally didn't want to do quarter round, but a few gaps at the floor/wall were a little too big and needed to be covered up. In the end, I'm glad I did the quarter round, I think it looks better.
Here's a close-up of the baseboard and quarter round I used. I still need to do touch-up paint and caulk up the joints.

Some jerk-wad installed the bathroom sink clocked about 5* crooked. If you look at the first pic, look at the hole in the mirror as compared to the faucet.

There, that's better

New faucet? Sure, why not

This is more or less how it stands today. Pictures suck due to night/flash/P&S.
...and yes, I know my furniture sucks

Thanks
man looks good so far. sweet cat :O
btw how much you spend so far?
Hard to say exactly... About $1350 for 500sf of floor, about $300 for random trim and lumber $25 in cabinet hardware $35 faucet, maybe $80 in paint.
So that's roughly $1800 so far. I'm still planning on doing counters, light fixtures and a few window shades (to cover up the horrible seal-failed aluminum windows
