Default To rebuild or not to rebuild?

Aight would you purchas a b17a GSR engine wiht 200 xxx KM on it for 700 wiht tranny and do a rebuild or would you just save up a buy a GSR wiht low k?

Is a rebuild going to give me a reliable engine that will last?

Engine... I had a b17a in my 92 GSR, it was the KING. Built, that thing would be a threat. Reliable, absolutely - I had NO problems whatsoever, and I was VTECing all over the place. It took everything I threw at it, and laughed as it spun toward that 8200 redline...

Ahhhh the black sheep, what a nice motor. I'd pick that up in a heartbeat.

Thanks guys i was worried about the reliabilty but more so parts. Its very similar to the b16a and b18c1 engines but i wasnt sure if parts would be scarce for the b17. Reliabilty I figuered isnt to much an issue. I mean 1 if the engine is in ok condition it would last long never mind if i rebuilt it and id be opening it up doing pistons the works.
