i dont know a whole lot about systems....i know a decent amount tho...

i was thinking of going with 2 JL 12w3v2's and running 400 watts to each sub

now i know it will sound good (jl....) but how mant dbs am i lookin at here...

and also if anyone can get good prices on jl subs...let me know im just toying with different ideas

i was aslo thinking maybe get one jl 12w6v2 with a 500/1 amp


any incite would help me out a lot...(and i dont want any other sub bsides jl)

hmmmm

400watts to a w3 is pushing it isnt it? i had 300 to mine. last i read they take 250watts? im not sure about the v2. i would rather get a pair of w3s than a single w6.

and dBs? that really depends on your box and the install job... its really hard to just give out a good number. but that pair can probably get mid to high 130s? even a rare low 140? just a guess.

I have one 12w6v2 with the 500/1 but its being installed next week. It's a massive sub so im sure it will pound. It cost me 290 here in New York. I heared this set up in a mini and it was pounding the crap out of that mini. Thats why I choose this set up for myself.
