ok, so i have a 2001 accord ex with a v6. the other day the check engine light came on and the d4 light was blinking. the d4 light has stopped blinking since, however the check engine light is still on. I have the following 2 codes showing up P0730 faulty shift control system, and P1739 Automatic transaxle concearns. Besides the transmission fluid level which is ok... Where do i start? any help would be appreciated.

 

You will eventually need a new transmission, its a known problem with the accord automatic transmissions from 98-02, and even some in 03

 

I have an 02 accord ex and the same problem. Clear the check engine by taking the negative off the battery.
