Hi all, my daily is a 07 accord and shortly after I lock my doors the alarm / horn sounds, resets and continues to randomly go off. It is not the "factory" alarm per say, but it was a dealer installed option rather than some type of a DEI model. Anyone have any info on how to disconnect it? The dealership I bought it from is in AZ and apparently not all dealerships install that specific alarm so no one knows about it locally. I'm confident in the 12v arena but wasn't sure if anyone has had this problem specifically - thx.

 

it sounds like you have a dealer installed aftermarket alarm unless your remotes say honda on it ..if your confident with your 12v skills just look under the dash for t-taps or scotchlock connectors going to the factory wires the alarm is most likely just shoved under there with not a zip tie holding it up just unlook it put your starter wire back ...other wise any stereo shop can do this..
