my boss called me left a msg that starting tommorrow, we are on "assigned overtime" doing 7am-7pm 13 days on & 1 off until further notice

 

that is a lot of hours!

good new is "work week" is sun-sat & sun is autmatic 1.5x pay & if worked counts towards overtime too

40-49 in a week is 1.5x pay
49+ is 2x pay

they can't "assign" more than 12hrs a day or more than 13 days in a row. if my 14th happens to be a scheduled day, then they send me home to break the 13 in a row streak & have to pay me 4hrs at my current rate (which at that point would be 2x pay)

I work from 8a-7p usually, 630 if I get done early...
and I usually work Saturdays from like 8-2

for real....i work overtime when there is something i want. otherwise i live on a 40hr paycheck budget & enjoy my time off

 

At least you get paid for overtime. Hence as soon as 8 hours hit im out the door.
