***Need feed back on Wix oil filters***

I have done hours of research on oil filter reviews and found out that the Honda A02 oil filter made by Fram are garbage. The Honda A01 oil filters are too hard to find now.

I'm switching to Wix oil filters since they are high quality at a good price.

- Should I go with the Wix 51334 or the smaller Wix 51356 for b-series and k-series motors?
- Will the OEM honda oil filter wrench work on the Wix 51356?
- Have you had any problems with Wix oil filters? Leaks? Loss of oil pressure? Oil filter o-ring coming off and sticking on engine?
- Where's a good place to buy them in bulk?

Here's a good review on oil filters:

I have used the Wix 51356 since I bought my DC Integra in 01.
Haven't had a problem with the filter in any regard; oil consumption is less than 1/3 quart in 4000 miles.

I am convinced that they're the best on the market for the B-series.
I don't own an OEM wrench, so I can't speak to whether it will fit the end of the filter. Instead, I've relied on a strap-type wrench without a problem.

How does the Wix 51356 compare in size to the small Honda A02?

Sorry, I've never bothered to go with the A02s. h:
I came from Mobil 1 & Purolator filters to the Wix brand.

That said, capacity must be nearly the same.
A little under 4 quarts will get to the high mark on the B18B1's dipstick.

Sorry, can't see it.

But knowing the crap AlliedSignal pulls for the FRAM brand, I can make an educated guess:
* Cardboard end caps
* Plastic pressure relief valve
* Paper filter media held in by glue
* Crudely stamped, mild steel pressure vessel.

Basically, a filter cost-engineered down to the last 0.00001¢

I am using the WIX 51334 on the B18C. Probably best filter I've used so far. No problems with the rings sticking or leaks. If you look inside the filter, the construction is far superior than any other filter I've used.

I've always used the WIX 51334 also. Same number works in my Civic and Integra engines also.
