Are RSX type s's really this fast..?
Ok, heres why i question how fast they are. Went out with my best friend tonight, SheetOne, and went to see what was out there to race tonight. Ran into a few civics( not very fast ones) and beat them by flooring it from 35mph in 3rd gear several times. Up next, a few GT berreta's, no challenge. Went down the road and saw a Ferrari 360 modena race a MR2, great race that i think ended with a little running from the cops on the Ferrari's part. But there was a 2nd gen Talon TSI AWD turbo, and a Subaru Legacy Turbo. The legacy was faster than the Talon, but both posed no challenge on several races from low speed rolling starts to 35+mph rolling starts. I think honda is underating the RSX type s, does anyone else think this. Oh, and also ran into a 3000gt SL and beat the **** out of it off the line, and on the freeway a few times..
98CoupeV6 is on the mark, a few have gone as high as 181 WHP but not too many, and that is without any mods. Couple cars on that list sound like a stretch, but it could just be a bad driver, the TSI and the 3000 GT.
I have no trouble hitting 100mph on E-Way ramps, have to slow down to merge in. Car tops out in 5th gear and hve hit 135+ several times with no ill effects, handling and stability are there and it's not a scary ride.

I did both several times with my old RSX, and it's a very serene car. Definetly a different beast than the old Integra, where you really felt your speed. You can buy an RSX, but you'll never truly appreciate its speed until you race someone. It's got some crazy sound deadening or something..because you always think you're going alot slower than you are or accelerating alot slower. It's definetly a luxurious and quick hatchback
the TSI driver seemed to know how to drive, it sounded like the turbo was spooled up eachtime they raced. The 3000gt driver knew how to lauch, and was side by side through first, but my friend pulled him through second, and kept going. They where all cars i have seen severa times before racing so who knows. but 4 lights in a row, he never was able to hang, same with the TSI. The RSX is scary on NM roads at 140+. The roads here SUCK, the car seems to top out in 5th. Hopefully with an Intake and exhaust that wont be the case. The RSX is a very quiet car, and its scary how easy it is to get it to 100mph. Sweet car, i will be saving pennies for a long time to get one...one day i too will have one

100 mph on ramps ..... well what kind of curve , how much degree of the turn, and how long is it? It depends on what kind of ramp it is. I really don't see how you can do 100 mph on the ramps I have been to, even with NSX type R or F360, at 100 mph I think you will fly off the road.
Its not that hard to do 100 on an on ramp, i have seen and done it lots of times. ALL but like 2 of the on ramps in the city i live in are straight, and 2 are a "wrap around" type, they go back under the over pass, even those you can do 60 on, no biggie. And Dyno Jets are VERY reliable, if they werent they wouldnt be so popular. Thats like saying a honda isnt reliable, its all on the user as to how reliable its gonna be.

when i say reliable, i meant it's not that accurate.
There're other types of machine like dynopack. why a machine is so popular maybe i think you need to think about cost/efficient. Don't you think a decent price machine yet can also provide a decent data is good for every shop?

Ok so your on ramps are straight , then what's big deal hitting 100 on it? here we have mostly speed limit 15-35 highway ramps, now if you can go full speed (say like 70+mph) into a 15 mph speed limit curve and maintain 30-35, that's something I'd say skill. that's how I play with ramps here.

But anyway, I hit 100 several times on on ramps. The one on ramp where I did it multiple occaisons on had two 30MPH curves and was about 2/5 mile long.
