tell me about the blackberry pearl

2 more weeks til we are eligible for new phones

 

its a pain in the ass for me to thumb type on them cuz the keys are arranged in a cool V shape
so nothing is lined up

 

i didnt like the 2 letter per key arrangement.

 

i got the curve

 

Do you want to use the smartphone features (i.e. email, web browsing, apps that use a data connection, etc)? Because there's really no point in getting a smartphone if you don't intend to use the smartphone features. Going with that, Blackberry plans can tend to be expensive compared to other devices, depending on carrier.

 

Depending on you'r e mail service, webclient (the public blackberry e mail service) is only supported by a couple of the free ones. If you pay, you are good. Other than that, ... Google... they are free.

i just got the curve on friday
from verizon not bad so far

edit: it feels lighter than the pearl plus full Qwerty Keyboard

what service do you have, i have a pearl from verizon now but i'm waiting for the curve to come out at my store so i can get it.
