I wall mounted the other TV
Finally got to mounting the tv in the living room. I actually mounted it yesterday, but it was a little too high up, so today I "re-mounted" the tv.
I ran the regular signal cords in-wall and actually installed a new outlet behind the tv for power/ (all with romex in-wall code compliant electrical and gang boxes and outlets.

The purpose of the wall mount is that the tv can now articulate and swing so that we can watch it from the kitchen. Where would I put the other components without the console?

j/k
i always wanted to have the tv mounted on the wall then the components in a nook with wall mounted shelves.

All I'm saying is that the way its set up now looks weird. Like its hover off of where it was just sitting. Having the speakers mounted somewhere (or buying mountable speakers) would look better. Just constructive criticism.
Wall mounted bose cubes ftw!!!
