I like the display on the second one better, but Clarion makes great sounding head units. I had a $130 base level head unit from them that sounded better than a Sony Xplod that costed $100 more. The sony had better features as you'd expect, but sound quality was a big drop off.
This is probably gonna be the more expensive one, but it is also a choice:

D MASK+ motorized, detachable face
rotary control knob
3-D fine dot FL (MegaMotion) display
selectable red/green button illumination
CR-2 tuner
18 FM/6 AM presets
Sirius Satellite Radio controls (tuner, antenna, and subscription required)
System Q EX Sound Control
System E's+
Mobile Presets adjust output for your speakers with three settings (factory speakers, larger aftermarket speakers, smaller aftermarket speakers)
4.5-volt front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs
plays CD-Rs and CD-RWs
zero-bit mute circuit
CD titling
CD text
wireless remote
clock
22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels
CD frequency response 10-20,000 Hz
CD signal-to-noise ratio 105 dB
FM sensitivity 9.3 dBf
2-year warranty

Clarion...
Panasonic... not as good sounding as the clarion... but it would look really cool if you got the Panasonic and added an aluminum trim kit to the car!
Kenwood... It sounds ok, but is very hard to work and the faceplate is built like a childs toy... very cheap!
Time delay is also known as a Listening position selection, meaning you can actually control when the sound goes to a particuluar speaker... you even out the timming as to which the sound reaches your ears, making it sound as though you are sitting directly between 2 speakers... meaning better soundstaging. My alpine has this feature, but I never use it...
