Default about dampening soundt...

where exactly do i place Raammat60 in my trunk if it rattles like crazy? Or where are the best places if i dont have that much Raammat60 to use?

This is going to sound like a smart ass comment, but put it on the panels where it rattles!!

go to rick's site www.raammat.com - not sure if the spelling is correct. He has instructions.

heh well what i meant was can i stick it to the carpet? or do i take the carpet off and stick it to the actual metal of the car? for instance in the trunk, should i stick it to the metal where the spare wheel is? or right underneath the carpet where the wood is?

metal panels rattle because they are thin and flimsy. putting weight on the panel, will stop the rattling.

carpet does not rattle. putting the mat on the carpet will be...uggg. just dont do it.

you have to remove all the side panels, carpet, etc, from your trunk.

if you dont have a lot to spare, try to isolate the rattle, and place the mat there.
