Default Honda Prelude Alram Question

Ok This is a 91 Prelude and problem is every time i open car door this stupid alarm goes off, just a normal beep beep sound until i close the car and it stops, I think its some after market alarm the previous owner installed. no no not a car Horn or lights, its just like a small cheacky beep beep Chinese alarm clock. I want to disable it, how? I found a small box at the right side under the dashboard of the driver seat. Is that the alarm? how do i remove it? do i cut the whole thing off? it has lots of cables attached lots, do i cut off all the cables ? how do I disconnect it otherwise? can i get details on that issue, i am not that car kinda guy, so details pls.

Some other questions

is i disconnect that alarm will my car make the reverse noise and other important noise? i just want to turn off the/any alarm..

how this affects my car's other stuff. pls answer all questions.

it might be an alarm, but you would have to check to see. if you want to disable it, unplug the wires that is going to that unit. This will not affect anything as a removal of an alarm is just like having it brand new and nothing was touched. Dont cut anything because you may short out somthing. just simply dissconect.

It's the seatbelt alarm thingy above the rear view mirror. You can open it up and unplug it with out hurting anything.
