i have an 02 civic ex, and was looking to swap the engine... recomendations? id like somthin that isnt 2 expensive.

 

That is probably the worst year ever for Civic. It is a D-series motor which is the worst. You would have to get new motor mounts for any swap, which is going to cost at a minimum $500. You could go with a B-series which is commonly sold for around 2K complete, so you are looking at $2500 for a pretty crappy body style, and one of the least commonly upgraded chassis. You should probably sell that car, get a mid 90's Honda, and the sky is the limit--IMHO...
