Quick question, need new battery
I need a new battery for my 99 LX, what brand would be recommended? It gets extremely cold here in the winter (sometimes below 0 f for several days in a row).
Oh yeah, I also took my car in to have the oil changed today and they recommended a radiator flush, they also said my radiator level was low, how often should the radiator be flushed and how much is a reasonable price for it?

Just go to Sears and just get a regular battery. Most battery nowadays survive any weather any temp.
You can actually flush your raditor yourself cheap. Just pick up 2 gallons of Honda coolant. Open the radiator cap, put a pan under where the drain valve is under the car (under the radiator of course) and let it drain. Stick a hose in your radiator and flush it out with water. Empty the coolant overflow.
Put the plug back in, fill back up with coolant, and open the bleed valve near the upper radiator hose, and fill with coolant til coolant comes out of the bleed valve. Fill up the overflow tank to between min/max.
Put your heat to full blast and start the car. Let it run for about 30 mins and keep an eye on the coolant level, adding more if you need to. Put the old coolant into a container and take it to a shop to dispose of it correctly. NEVER dump coolant down your drain. It's illegal!
