Default No Spark, solve this problem!

Had a kid call me & said his car wouldn't start. I went throught the normal questions so heres the details.

1. Fuel pump still primes
2. there is pressure at the rail
3. you can smell fuel when u crank for a while
4. Found NO SPARK
5. pulled the dizzy & stuck it on my car & it fired right up, (so his dizzy is good)
6. put a new ecu is his car & got same responce. (no spark)
7. ecu fuse is fine
8. your turn!

Did you guys check to make sure the plugs and plug wires are good? I'd imagine you would have but it wasn't mentioned.

That's the only thing I can think of within my minimal expertise. Hope it gets worked out though.

there is no spark comming from the distributor while it's on his car, meaning there is no spark to give to the wires, let alone the plugs that are even further down the line.

Ahh, I just assumed since the distributor functioned on your car it would function on his. So I just stepped passed that and carried on aimlessly towards the plugs & wires. h: Guess the problem is the other way? :hsdunno:

Can't be. He swapped the dizzy to his car and it worked fine.

I'm gonna go with either a relay or some wiring.
