what is a mini me swap? and will a 1.6 SOHC vtec head fit on my d15b2 block and is there any advantage to doing this?

 

is there anyone with any kinda intellegence on this site that actually knows how to reply to someones posts? because if so, i havent found them yet.

 

a mini me swap is when you put a v-tec head on a non v-tec bottom end.

basically you are adding v-tec to ur non v-tec motor.

if the motor you are talking about having is a civic CX motor, then No, you cannot add a v-tec head to it.

there is other things that would need to be changed as well, like ecu, wiring, gaskets and all that. so it is a time consuming project.

im south of pittsburgh too. Its a dx motor with a vtec head on it...
