Default Getting Hot Air

K so i have 97 civic ex with a d16y8 and lately my engine compartment has been getting really hot causing my short ram to get way hotter than it should be which seems to be causing me to loose power. What are some things that i could do to keep it cooler. BTW when i bought the car it had an ebay header on it, could this be my problem.

they actually have wraps that you can buy to put around the parts to keep a lot of the heat in just for that reason. start with the exhaust wrap which can cut back the heat up to 45% and give you MORE HP. Here is a link for the exhaust wrap http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...haustwrap.html

You can also check out for other wraps for the engine as well that could help you out. Let me know how it works
