Hone and piston size

Default Hone and piston size

i want to just rehone my block so i can break in my new rings, will i need oversized pistons or will stock bore do?

stock bore is fine. a hone doesnt take material away from the cylinders like a bore.

would it also be possible to use a b18b head on a b20 block? and if not, whats the rev limit stock on a b20?

As long as you don't hone away too much material, you'll be fine using the stock bore pistons.

I wouldn't rev a stock B20 higher than the OEM rev limit without some modification, namely ARP rod bolts or aftermarket rods. If your having the block honed by a machine shop, OEM rings should be fine.

Be sure your ring gap is calculated correctly!
