Default Clam dip

My mom always used to make this when we had company over for dinner and whatnot, for the munching on snacks while watching football portion of the evening or whatever.

1 bag your favorite ridged potato chip (I prefer regional companies like Utz in the northeast or Jays in the midwest)
16 oz tub of reduced fat sour cream
1 packet Lipton french onion soup mix
1 can (6.5 oz or something like that) chopped clams

Take a bowl, mix the sour cream with the onion soup mix and clams.

Dip the chips in the dip.

Eat em.

That's tasty. I think maybe I like it more than most for the comfort food aspect since it's what mom used to make, but it's still pretty tasty in general...

I like that french dip you mentioned.

For our office pot lucks I bring the cheese dip. I brown pork sausauge and then add velveeta cheese and rotel. I like to get the hottest rotel available-makes for a more interesting dip! I usually get some plain Dorito's to dip.

Fresh guacamole:

2 Alvacados
1 tb sp onion
1tb sp red pepper
1tb sp jalapeno
1tb sp garlic
1/4 salsa
squeeze of lime

Mix all of the above in a nice bowl and serve with Tortillo Chips and ice cold Corona.

Wooord. I usually substitute the salsa with a can of chili. Shits soooo banging.
