who uses desktop widgets?

I love widgets. I use one for weather, and a little animation that dances on my desktop. I also use dual monitors, so it's not like I'm hogging real estate on my desktop. Quite useful if you can find ones that you actually can use.

And FWIW, I think the use of a hot corner is fine.

hot corners enabled on my osx. very resourceful when needed.

I only use hot corners for my screen saver.
