8g is fine. But think about if you are ever going to plan to add another amp.

With 4g...you have a lot of headroom. It will not hurt anything but your wallet. If you are going with 8g and decide to upgrade later, you might have to add another lay of wire to provide enough power. Thatll take more time and money. Do it right the first time.

boogers right go with a least 4awg. Or you could do what I did and get a rope (2awg) youll never exceed power rating on that unless ya gat all crazy with you system.

this would be my reccomendation to you if you plan on adding. you should run the 4g wire back with a distribution block. from the d block run 8g out to your amp and when you upgrade just run another 8g wire to that one (d block should have 2 8g outputs). also run your 4 channel rcas along with your 2 channel ones at the same time that way it is done. DO NOT run your rcas down the same side as the power because it will cause crosstalk.

 

no you will most likely never oct gauge wire unless you are running like 2000+ watts 4ga is ideal even if you want to upgrade and the price isnt that bad

 

lol I don't think you can get phoenix gold wire @ wally world. further more 0awg is to much, why don't u run a bridge cable to it, oops thats right it not plyable.
