so my 00 civic seems to hesitate sometimes when i give it gas, unless it is at WOT. i just got a new clutch and everything put in.. any suggestions??

 

I'm gonna suggest default text, new plugs, filter, and wires. Then go from there.

 

changed the font back.. now i still need to change the plugs, wires, and filter... any more suggestions???

 

Run a can of injector cleaning fluid through it too - never hurts.

 

not too hijack this thread, but i too have a similar problem.
i have a 94 ex sedan and getting more and more hesitation while on the throttle. this seems to be getting worse if i run wot no problems, but if i run light throttle i get hesitation. i have replaced all this, new plugs, new wires, new cap, new rotor, new fuel filter, ran cleaner w/full tank of gas. 99% stock w/ exception of cai this has been on the car for a long time with no problems. now even more there is no cel. only once when i took a hard turn.

 

Timing. Mine did the same thing. Hit the gas and it boggs down for a sec then finally goes. Re-timed and all better.

Also check for pinging. An Si requires premium so next time you fill up put in premium. I was running reg and mid and it was pinging. Little damage caused but fixed now. Do both.
