The Helms says 9 ft/lbs, but I usually do a 1/4-1/2 turn past finger tight in a crisscross pattern to avoid stripping the studs.

i believe the correct torque for the bolts for the transmission case is 21 lb ft - they are 8mm diameter bolts - some places in the manuals indicate 21 lb ft and other places 20 lb ft - L3 transmission manual says 21 - manual for B-series transmission says 20 - take your pick

What manual are you using?

I have the 1400 page Integra service manual and it says 33 ft/lbs for the tranny case bolts.
